Come se uomo, energia, ambiente, identità diventassero atomi impazziti, non più ricongiungibili in unità di significato. E rimanesse solo l’impotenza di fare e pensare le cose che ci appartengono e cui apparteniamo. L’assenza di energia. Il grado zero del mondo. “L’impossibilità”.
La guerra come deflagrazione di senso, come inquinamento per antonomasia.

War pollution in Palestine est une oeuvre d’art sur la signification de l’environnement après la guerre. Ou plutôt sur la perte de valeur de l’environnement face à l’homme, face à son identité la plus profonde.
Come si l’homme, l’énergie, l’environnement devenaient des atomes hors contrôle, impossibles à maîtriser, des modulor de signification perdus à jamais.
Ce qui reste, ce n’est alors que l’impuissance à faire et penser les choses qui nous appartiennent, les choses qui font de nous ce qu’on est. Absence d’énergie. Degré zero de l’univers. “L’mpuissance” en tant que telle.
La guerre en tant qu’éclat de la signification. Pollution avec un P majuscule.

After a war, there’s anything more than the impossibility of doing and thinking the things that we have and we are. Lack of energy. Zero degree of the universe. Nothing is possible anymore.
